Three weeks into the softball season and storylines are beginning to emerge as groups look to construct early momentum to hold them by a protracted season and lots of of these storylines are being developed from non-Energy 5 faculties.
Week one of many season was dominated by the pitchers. Brianna Jones of Southern Illinois threw an ideal sport, Kayla Beaver threw a no-hitter in her Alabama debut and Boston College’s Kasey Ricard and Allison Boaz every threw a no-hitter for the Terriers.
The hitters emerged in week two as Georgia defeated Florida State 20-10, Northwestern beat Georgia Tech 19-6 and South Carolina defeated San Diego 18-1.
Week three featured a return of the pitchers as Karlyn Pickens threw an ideal sport for Tennessee and Florida obtained a no-hitter from Keagan Rothrock and an ideal sport from Olivia Miller.
Quick begins, surprises, elite pitching, highly effective bats and extra are included in observations following week three of the softball season.

UNCW is off to a stable begin because the Seahawks are presently 8-5 on the season following a 3-1 efficiency final week. UNCW defeated George Mason, Windfall and UMBC and used the pitching of Kara Hammock and a few late inning magic to report two comeback wins on Sunday. Delaware can also be 8-5 on the 12 months after a 3-1 weekend on the Virginia Event. Included within the Blue Hens three victories was a pair of wins over Iowa State.
