AMES, Iowa – Iowa State head coach Jamie Pinkerton has introduced the signings of eight excessive schoolers to Nationwide Letters of Intent.
The Cyclones signed Danika Finest, Jessie Clemons, Karlee Ford, Abby Huhn, Hayleigh Oliver, Samantha Potvin, Victoria Prado and Sereniti Trice.

Danika performed for the Louisville Sluggers-Huecker membership crew and was a four-time letterwinner in highschool. Finest recorded a .420 batting common, 14 stolen bases and 21 RBI this previous season and was a member of the 2022-23 Honor Roll.

Jessica Clemons – 5’9 | INF | Bettendorf, Iowa | Nice Valley HS
A multi-sport athlete and Iowa native, Clemons helped lead Nice Valley to 4 straight profitable seasons in all 4 years she lettered with the crew. This previous summer time, Clemons was named to the First Crew All-State and the 5A Match Crew as Nice Valley completed runners-up within the state event. She tallied a .450 batting common with 13 homers and 60 runs scored.
“Jessie’s an all-around participant who was a member of the Southeast Iowa All-Stars and has each good pace and energy,” says Coach Pinkerton. “She’s performed everywhere in the subject and has confirmed that she will be able to play a number of positions and assist our program wherever she’s wanted.”

Karlee Ford – 5’6 | C | Goddard, Kan. | Eisenhower HS
A four-year varsity starter, Ford joins the Cyclones from the Sunflower State. Her softball crew was the 5A State Runner-Up this previous season after Eisenhower earned third-place finishes in each 2020-21 and 2021-22. Ford was named First Crew 5A All-State and an All-League Catcher this previous season, the place she hit .437 with 38 hits (24 for further bases) with 15 steals. Ford holds her highschool’s document for many homers in a season with 10.

Abby Huhn – 5’8 | RHP/OF | Carlsbad, Calif. | Mission Hills HS
Huhn recorded a 1.66 ERA this previous season, putting out 200 batters with a single-game excessive of 16 strikeouts. On the plate, Huhn hit .370 and earned All-Convention recognition in her junior season. Abby has an older sister, Madison, who performs basketball at Miami (OH).

Hayleigh Oliver – 5’8 | OF | Star, Idaho | Eagle HS
A four-time highschool letterwinner, Hayleigh involves Ames from the aiBandits-Breer membership crew. Previously three seasons, Oliver has helped her highschool to a pair of fourth-place finishes in addition to a fifth-place end in Idaho 5A ball. Samantha Potvin – 5’9 | RHP | Olympia, Wash. | Olympia
Potvin comes from a historically sturdy membership program within the Pacific Northwest – the Washington Ladyhawks. She recorded over 235 in each her sophomore and junior highschool seasons. Potvin earned Pitcher of the Yr within the South Puget Sound League in all three of her highschool seasons up to now.
