In as we speak’s world, it’s almost not possible to keep away from comparability. Scroll by means of social media for just some minutes, and also you’ll see spotlight reels of different athletes committing to varsities, celebrating provides, and sharing stats. It’s a lovely factor to look at others succeed. However should you’re not cautious, that admiration can slowly twist into discouragement, insecurity, and doubt—particularly when your journey seems totally different.
The reality is, comparability steals. It doesn’t simply distract you—it diminishes the enjoyment of your personal progress. And with September 1 approaching, the stress can really feel overwhelming for athletes who haven’t gotten the decision or the provide they hoped would come. However I wish to remind you as we speak: Your path shouldn’t be speculated to seem like anybody else’s. God shouldn’t be late, and He has not forgotten you.
