CEBU CITY, Philippines – A 51-year-old ex-convict returned to jail after he was caught stealing candies from the grocery store of a shopping center in Brgy. Mambaling, Cebu Metropolis on Thursday, January 9.
The theft happened at round 12:25 p.m. on Thursday, in response to police.
The arrested suspect was recognized as Eddie Patolada Patoc, 51, a resident of Sitio Avocado, Brgy. Mambaling in Cebu Metropolis.

Police, in a report, disclosed that the suspect is an ex-convict and is at the moment unemployed.
Patoc was taken into custody after he was caught discreetly placing 26 items of candies inside his bag. The stolen merchandise had been reportedly price a complete of P6,837.
He then allegedly tried to depart with out paying however was intercepted by a safety guard of the institution at round 12:25 p.m.
A couple of hours later or at 4:45 p.m., Patoc was turned over to the personnel of the Mambaling Police Station.
